Hi all.

I am going to connect a VFD to my dsPIC30F2010 and before I start writing my own communication code I ask: Have anyone wrote any communication routines in c for these kind of displays?
The communication is done serially with 1 datapin and 1 clockpin and 1 resetpin.
I try to include the datasheet.
It seems to mee that the communication isnt standard serial and i don't see any comm. speed in the datasheet exept for some miniumum delays.
The VFD is made by FUTABA and is marked us202sd01.

Maybee this kind of displays are common and some comm.routines is avalible for dl...

Hope anyone can help.
Thanks..
Mateo

Re: dsPIC and VFD

Isn't anyone able ho help me out here??

Well, I better start writing my own routines then.
This is my first try with dsPICs and C, but I have good experience writing in Asm for standard 8-bit PICs so how hard can it be??
If it turns out good I can post the code for all to see.

/Mateo
