Hello friends,

Can I connect parallel a common mode choke inductors? You can see at the picture. My porpuse is increase current capacity for dc system filtering.

Coomon mode chokes are not designed to carry large common mode currents. They will be usually saturated with common mode currents that are only a small fraction of the rated current.

Thanks friend,

I have 15A rated current CMC. So, I can't this for 10A DC current?

No, as FvM has already told you it will saturate way below 15 amps.

In the common mode connection, 15 amps flows one way through the first winding, then back the other way through the second winding.
This causes the dc in each winding to totally cancel out to zero in the magnetic core.

What you are trying to do is feed dc current through both windings in the same direction.
The dc currents add together, not cancel each other out. So it will not work that way.

Thanks Warpspeed,

I understand that you say differential mode connection, don't you?
