What is the small signal gain?
What is the input resistance (r pi), assume beta = 100?
How much higher can the current go before the transistor saturates?

I have attached the circuit..please tell me how to solve such a circuit..what formulas are to be used

Hi friend......

Small signal analysis is nothing but BJT amplifier analysis using h-parameters. Observe the following links once.

Bipolar junction transistor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hybrid-pi model - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think, you got the formula for (r pi) from second link.
It is,

(r pi) = beeta/gm and here, gm= Ic/Vt

where, gm=transconductance
Vt=thermal voltage=26mv at room temperature

Now, you can get the answer by substituting these values......

Hope, you got it.......
