Hi,
I saw a winding spec for a bipolar current sense transformer (50:1) used in an LLC converter. It was pertaining to the polarity of the primary and secondary coils. Why do they bother with that? In a bipolar CST, it doesn’t matter which way round the bobbin pri and sec are wound.

It doesn't matter if the secondary is being rectified to just detect the absolute value of the current. There are many other feasible uses for a CT in an LLC converter though.
