Hello,

I need help for design a PRECISION GAIN AMPLIFIER.

given specification:

gain must be independent of temperature and frequency it can be controlled only by the w/l ratios
gain = 2.00000, freque = in KHz

any one have any good idea regarding topology or any doc regarding this or any book or any link where I can gen sufficient information then please ...!

Help would be very very appreciable.

Thank you very much.

No amplifier has gain completely independent of temperature and frequency. One can be made that is stable to a reasonable tolerance over a limited frequency and temperature range. So you need to determine the frequency range, temperature range, and gain stability value required before you can do the design.

crutschow Sir,

First of all Thank you very much for your very informative rply.

as you said I should have to measure temp and freq range for stable gain How can I do that ?

and I forgot to mention one thing in previous post that this AMPLIFIER is going to be use in ADC.

Sir, there is one patent "Patent US4841254 - CMOS precision gain amplifier"
in this they controlled the gain using Feed back device transistor size. Is it good for me to follow this design for this ?

Hopping for the best rply..!
