all the three MOS have one thing in common that is they are all voltage controlled in nature

can anyone differentiate them more based on their real time applications

When I see Nmos we predominantly in circuits where the controller has to eliminate the negative cycle

Pmos is one in which the positive cycle is ejected

And Cmos is a Combination of both the positive aspects of the N and P MOS FET in built in a single Si layer

  • CMOS are mostly used in circuits where static power dissipation is a concern unlike PMOS & NMOS.

  • NMOS are used where a strong '0' is desired & PMOS where a strong '1' is desired.

Static power disipation in a CMOS can ruin other devices related to the CMOS in actual circuitory But still how are we able to see so many applications of it in real time
