hey,

How to simulate the total input noise of the Operational Amplifier..?

can you help me with a schematic (if it's possible)

thanks..:)

There is .noise analysis in hspice. You can try it. Just add the noise analysis when you run ac simulation.

Or to complete ABDMOULEH, you can put a noise source in ADS

hey,

I forgot to tell you that I use Cadence (spectre).

thanks.:)

You can run noise analysis in specte, then plot the input noise

Obviously you are a freshman. You can search a document "spectreRF.pdf" from the internet, or use "cdsdoc" command to get online helps.

If you use ocean scirpt to simulate, please refer to references of ocean and skill. The can all obtained from the internet or "cdsdoc" command.

The ocean script like this:
analysis('noise ?start "10M" ?stop "1G" ?dec "20" ?iprobe "vin" ?p "outp" ?n "outn" ?oprobe " ")
run()

On Spectre you can use the noise analysis and then choose the noise source to be your input and the output is the OpAmp output
Run the simulation
go to Results-->Print-->Noise Summary
