hspice cmi
CMI, Common Model Interface, was device modeling tool to model user-defined device or specific device that hspice doesn't support.
CMI was used with hspice. hspice was accurate simulation tool, but not appropriate tool for extracted circuit , full verification and circuit that has many components.
Maybe, it was efficient to use some other tool, like HSIM/Nanosim for full circuit verification.
One serious problem has arisen : HSIM/Nanosim does not support CMI.
Devices that was modeled by CMI was not used in HSIM/Nanosim.
That is, if some circuit have device which was modeled in CMI, you have to use HSPICE only.
However, some reason leads me to use HSIM/Nanosim. Is any way to solve this problem?
Thanks
