Clock recovery from Preamble

I have preamble size of 4 bits.
Is it possible to regenerate/recovery a clock from 4 bits of preamble. If Yes how? If not how many minimum bits and bit pattern of preamble is required for clock recovery from the data line. Please help regarding this
