Hi Guys,
Is it possible to configure and run a PIC 16F876a without connecting any Resistor/Cap or Xtal to OSC1 and OSC2? i.e. Can the PIc 16F876a run on an internally generated clock?

I have read the data sheet and it mentions RC and Xtal options to start up PIC but these methods require external components.

Speed is not a concern it i could configure to run with internal clock.

Thanks,

The PIC 16F876A does not have that capability, however there a several that do.

Checkout PIC 16F818/9:

PIC16F818/819 Data Sheet

8MHz internal oscillator can be adjusted via OSCCON register to various clock frequencies.
