hello,

I want to do load pull for a class E power amplifier. but i have some problems that I dont understand.

I explained the the figure attached:

lp.png

1) Can I drive PA with a pulse generator in Load pull setup ?
2) If I have that I wont need bias for input
3) I cannot put a high value choke in drain since I am designing a Class E power amplifier with finite DC feed

1-Yes you can use -theoretically- pulse generator but this one will not have a source impedance so the Load-Pull simulations will be absolutely erroneously.( available power relationship)
2-OK, no problem since you drive sufficiently large ( the transistor will be hard driven through the gate but HB will not like it at all.In order to check, you can do a transient simulation)
3-Put a lambda/4 circuit@operating frequency. -an option?
