in a clap switch, the mic produce an electrical signal when we clap (or according to the bias setting of the post circut of the mic ) these electrical signal applied to the next circuit (it contain a monstable circut / time delay circuit ).whic produce a pulse when and only the mic gets sound .Then the monostable pulse is applid to counter (using cd 4017 ).the counter controls the signal via a realy circuit (see data sheet of decade counter cd 4017) The controls the extenal devise or the bulb.In this forum had already discused. So search the forum.
In the first post you are asking for an explanation "in air" for just a subject. In second, you are explaining it yourself, and asking other to search the forum for a schematic. What else do you expect ? Do you expect every one to search the forum for the schematic with your said parameters, and write a story for your science fair project? Looking at your profile pic, dont you think a "clap switch" is too small for you? or you are "helping" some child for his project for a benefit.
