hiii , i have to excite te11 and te21 mode in circular waveguide using coax feed . how to get the length and diameter of coax conductor protruding inside the circular wg. it will be changed in order to meet the waveguide impedence which is much greater than 50 ohm coax line impedence.
similarly for te21 modes 4 coax excitations are required. if anyone have any idea about how to excitate or any simulation file ( as a template) it wil be very helpfull. greatly appreciate the help in advance.

To get a good insight, find Harvey: Microwave Engineering from 1960s. There is the basic info on waveguide modes and how to excite them. Or google the design of orthomode couplers.
