I need to charge a battery (12 VDC & 10 Amps MAX) and the nearest source of electric power is an electric motor (230 VDC & 90 Amps).
Is there any circuit I could use to accomplish that?
Thanks in advance...

Hi,
Yes, a conventional (auto)battery loader(you can select some with 10A capacity or adjustable for 10A)
You need others sayed a constant current generator with switch off if battery voltage is over~15V, or by over temperature...

Re: Circuit to reduce from >230VDC/90 Amps to 12VDC/10 Am

Thank you!
Are the conventional auto battery loaders capable of woking with that high voltage (>230 VDC / 90 Amps)?

Uff, sorry_my mistake, I overseed DC from 230V:-(...
Otherwise the constant current generator with battery voltage monitoring & switch is OK_the battery loader are in reality the same _only from DC 35v ca...

Thank you!
I'll look for something like that and I'll let you know if it works.
Thanks again...
