n eed a circuit dia gram of UNIVERSAL REMOTE control

need circuit

Universal remote control means a single remote can be used to operate your VCD,DVD, TV, Music system. and same equipments of others also.

I think this is quite complex
for standard remote control u need a encoder chip, keypad and ir led thats it. this will make a remote
and on reciever there is decoder.

and for universal u need lots of encoder chips in your remote.

Re: need circuit

You meed a microcontroller to build UNIVERSAL REMOTE control.

The device has a IR (Infra Red) receiver, to receive and record remote control signal, on the other side it can 'play-back' the recorded signal on its IR transmitter.

What do you need not just a schematic, you need software too.

need circuit

Cool Idea budhy. but one problem with this is diferent remote use different protocols, RC5 being the most common. but there are others too which ppm, sharp etc... even the carrier frequency is different with ranges from 30kHz to 56khz...
so it can be semi universal...

Re: need circuit

To vjfaisal,
could you define your "universal" remote control, as in fact, nothing is "universal" in our world.

Try to locate your desirement, otherwise no one can help you.
