What formulas or calculations would i want to know for doing circuit analysis?

What information would i want to know or get from formula's or calculations?

Circuit analysis formulas to get?
1.) Use formulas to get the voltage's,current's and power of each component or node points of the circuits/design networks and stages
2.) Use formulas to get the time constant of RC networks?
3.) Use Formulas to get the GAIN of stages from transistors,ic,tubes etc.
4.) Use formulas to What else please??

circuit formulas

Hi
ZFor this purpose u should study to books which can help u alot
1) Electric Circuits by Theodore F bogart
2)Fundamentals of circuit Analysis By Sadiko and Alexender

These books are all about circuits and u will find oput all ur questions answers

What oscilloscope or FFT digital oscillscope or software simulations program can get these measurments?

All the parameters yu have asked are ckt specific and therefore cannot be uniquely dicussed Talking of simulation s/w one can do all these measurements in EWB Multisim v3.1 or above. If you are seeking to just brush-up your fundamentals (quickly) then nothing like Schaums Outlines in Electric Circuits. This book is available at:-

sadiko circuits

There are many formulas for analying circuits. Ohms Law is the most important for this purpose. Volts (V or E ) = Current (I) x Resistance (R) E = IR, I = V÷R,
R = V÷I , Power (W) = V x I . These are just a few. These formula's help troubleshoot circuits if there are problems or just to find out normal operating value's.
