Helo,

could anyone tell me how to know in hfss simulation that the antenna has got a circular polarization?

Thank you very much.

I think that now I understand.. Can anyone just confirm that this is right?

Axial ratio:
-It must be less than 3 dB. The smaller the better.
-It is only interesting in the main lobe. So if antenna main lobe is about 60 degrees, the theta is from -30 to 30 degrees and phi is only interesting at 0 (max) and 90 degrees (min).

LHCP,RHCP:
-Antenna can be either LHCP or RHCP
-The difference between LHCP and RHCP must be about 10-15 dB..

One question:
-What numbers should I get for the RHCP and LHCP? I know that they must be different for about 15 dB but is it important that one is very small or is only the difference important? I mean if it is KO if LHCP=10 dB and RHCP=25 dB? Or it must be one near zero?

Thanks
