I would like to know how the programming logic will be built for Board games which involve more than 2 players which will/may require Timer app.

For example : 3,4,5,6,8,10 player game.

Examples :

4 players are playing ludo game which is played with a Timer.

Scrabble word power game which involves 3 or 4 players.

The Timer will show shapes depending upon the number of players. I.e. Triangle, Square, Pentagon, Hexagon and so on ... but what will be the changes in the software program to accomplish this?

Thanks & Regards,
Prashant S Akerkar

Thanks.

There could be clockwise and anticlockwise movement settings considerations for 3,4,5 and more players before the game is started.

Thanks.

Snakes and Ladders could be other example.

Board games which will involve more than 2 players and played with Timer (Physical and/or Digital).

1) Computer creates an array in memory in order to store each player's time.

2) Timer displays seconds as player ponders his turn. (Optionally the display also shows 'player 1' or 'player 2', etc.)

3) As soon as he makes a play, he presses button.

4) Computer adds counted seconds to his total time, stores it in memory.

5) Timer starts counting from zero for next player's turn.

It can get confusing whose time the computer is counting. Each player must push button at end of his turn.

Thanks.

Can the Bridge playing card game involving four players played with a Timer device?

This can be applicable to Board games viz Snakes & Ladders, Ludo, Scrabble, Playing cards games etc where the number of players can be more than 2 players and this are played with a Timer device?

The Draughts or Checkers board game played between two players can be played with the Chess Timer App.

Physical Timers devices have to be manufactured for the same with Timer Mobile apps for the respective games which involves more than 2 players?

Thanks & Regards,
