can anyone tell me how to model channel between base station and mobile. In one of the eqn channel is given by,

h = sqrt (path loss*shadow fading)*gain*small scale fading

also i have found another eqn
h = small scale fading / sqrt (path loss*shadow fading)

which eqn is right and why

also i m getting very high path loss value in range of 10^14 and noise variance is also 10^13. can anyone tell me these values are right

thanks
