Changing username on account 2021

I noticed a few threads dating back to 2010 or 2018.

It used to be possible to rename an account. Then it was recommended to deactivate and start a new account.

I don't know if EDAboard use username as a primary key. I can see it is possible to change email addresses, so flexibility is allowed here.

I've had many technical questions answered and I'd like to believe I've contributed back. I'd hate to lose my thread history.

Whats the best way to change username wesleytaylor to wtr... my surname has changed after marriage.

EDA uses Your name or email address to log in, but "username" for account, so you may need to close and create a new account.

@wesleytaylor You can change your username from Account details https://www.edaboard.com/account/account-details Just click the Change button on the right side of your username and change it. After the change request is approved, the new username will be visible in your profile and in all your posts.
