Does anyone have/know how to use ceramic resonators instead of using IFT cans (Intermediate Frequency Transformers) in superheterodyne radio receivers. This is to avoid usage of IFT's and instead use ceramic resonators, i.e. IFT's to be replaced by Ceramic Resonators (quartz crystals). Has anyone come across any circuit diagram for the above type of radio receivers, please send me links/circuit diagrams

Resonators should be preceeded with at least one tuned circuit, as some operate in an overtone mode so would pass IF/2 for instance. They have a resistive impedance in their pass band and are typically 200 ohms in and out.
