Hi friends, i don't know nothing of electronic circuits....

I bought a CD player that will use with a timer to start the CD automatically at a certain time.

but unfortunately the CD player does not start automatically when i turn it on unless I hit the play button. how can bypass the key play?

They told me to intervene on one of resistance, what you recommended to me?

Thank you very much

Umberto

Here is a test:
1.Turn off the player
2. insert cd
3. start a timer (stop watch)
3. Turn on the power button.
4. keep shorting the SW4 (play button) the top trace, to the bottom trace.
Do the shorting as pulses(the play button is usually the pause button also)
5. stop the timer when the cd starts to play.

What I am looking for is the delay in the cd player for the user interface.
