It is an own construction that improves a standard car clock and enlarges the range of presented information.
The whole construction is based on Atmega16L processor and LCD Nokia 6100 display. The proper clock is the system PCF8583. Additionally, the system is equipped with two thermometers DS18B20.
Features:
  • current hour with a second timer in the form of bargraph
  • start time of the travel counted from turning on the motor, the current time and the trip length
  • internal and external temperature
  • measurement of the car installation's voltage, controls of the ignition and the lights lit
Screens with the information are selected using the button or are automatically changed in a cycle of about 10 seconds. The system has a possibility of increasing the illumination after the ignition (daily drive) and dimming when the lights are turned on (night drive).
