Sampling complex signals

Hi all,
Is it possible sample a WCDMA signal??? If possible, what kind of samplers could be used?

thanx...

usual theory

Anything can be sampled if the sampling rate is at least twice the signal bandwidth. Your problem will be finding a sampler that is fast enough and with low enough jitter as well as a ADC that is fast enough. I suspect that you are venturing into an expensive hardware area.

Thanks. Cost isn't a problem. I'm more concerned whether there're samplers available to do the job properly and also the other parts (DSP platform, ADC, DAC). Any particular manufacturers or part numbers???

Hi,
At this site you will find excellent products & application notes:
