Can you install synopsys without using the installer?

do you know that can we install synopsys product without using synopsys installer?

I think they should work if you just unzip the *.taz files.

For old versions of $nopsys software, you do not need the installer
But, for new versions, yes, you need it.
Installer can be downloaded from synopsys website, if you are a customer.
