Can RH 8.0 support SATA harddisk?

wat u need to do is to recompile ur kernel. i think latest kernel should able to support sata harddisk. :eek:

via VT640 have driver .. use google

Sil3112 also have driver ( SATA raid card)..

but Sis no (I can not find it)


another is IDE raid
PDC 20378 (promis Co) have driver on ASUS website
HPT374 highpoint also have driver
but ITE 1812F gigaRaid no driver ..

U can even lead this as a a module dynamically, this will help u to conserve u memory as well. :wink:
