Can PortMon capature parallel port access?

portmon filter driver

I need to monitor the data parallel port communication, and tyied PortMon and
BusHound, but they capature nothing! I think these two software capature data using filter driver, and the program which I need to monitor access parallel port
using "out " instruction directly, so these capature soft can't capature it. Is my
understanding right?
