Can I replace ST95020 directly with AT25020?
They're both 2Kb SPI interface EEPROMs but from different families.

BTW: They're pin compatible. Data inside the chip is not important.

If the functionalities and also pin to pin compatible there is no wrong in replacing the IC...

When doing so you should also check availability of the IC in the local market, price difference, power consumption, any additional circuit referred by the manufacturer etc....

These comparison will help you in taking a wise decision...

The 95020 is on an existing product and I was wondering if I could replace it with a AT25020.
The only factor that is important for me here is that their interface and timing should be similar. Can somebody confirm that?

If you check the datasheet thoroughly you can answer by yourself...
