[AVR] Can I provide +12V to RAW input of Arduino Pro Mini ?

Can I provide +12V to RAW input of Arduino Pro Mini ? It has 2 pins for power namely VCC and RAW. I am choosing 3.3V Pro Mini Board.
I can provide regulated 3.3V to VCC pin but I want to use RAW pin to power the board. So, Can I provide +12V to RAW pin of 3.3V Pro Mini board ?

The RAW pin on mini is meant for unreg 12v input.
it is safe to connect 12v to RAW pin.
