Hi all,
I want to interface phone to the PIC and hope to do serial communication. But It is difficult to find serial(DRC11) cable for that.

So I hope to do it through serial to USB converter. Will it work?

Normally Phone is USB client. In this case Will PIC act as USB host? Is it Necessary to PIC to act as USB host?
Because I am doing this by serial to USB convertion.

Please guide me.

Thanks....

Re: Can I interface phone to PIC through serial to USB conve

if you phone is USB client (slave), then yes, you must use PIC32 series that have USB host controller.

sorry for my english
Cheers...:D
