I am considering using an energy measurement chip to measure Vrms and Irms on a 230V AC power line load using energy measurement solutions like CS5467 that instantly calculate those values.

I am wondering if anyone had experience with similar IC's to confirm if some can function measuring DC as well as I would like to add that functionality to my project.

company EasyMeter GmbH have ICs SPM3D, SPM3F, which can measure DC power with high accuracy. But they aren't freely accesible.
