Can DxDesigner-Expedition flow work on fedora?

I contacted the support personnel and he told me that RHE 3 or 4 are the only supported linux distributions!

Does that mean that I cannot use any other distribution; suse or fedora for example?
Also, what are the differences between fedora and RHE or any other distribution of linux?
