Pulse generator

Hi,

Can any body suggest a circuit of a Pulse generator with following spec.

Frequency: 0.1Hz to 100kHz
Duty cycle: 10% to 90%
Amplitude: 5V

Re: Pulse generator

Greetings,

Try the XR2206 from Exar (now owned by Sipex). It is a function generator chip for square, triangle, sine and pulse waves. The precision is .01Hz and it can go up to several MHz. The duty cycle can be adjusted to 10-90%. Check the datasheet. it has an application circuit that I think will suit your needs.

Or the tried and true 555 timer.

You could also use an op-amp or comparator circuit to make an oscillator.

Pulse generator

I use the funtiongenerator from velleman DVM20FGCN
