I am using OP177 amplifier IC.
the question is that how much gain i can achieve throgh this amplifier.
is it dependent on supply voltages or some thing else.
the circuit is defined below.
I am using simple inverting configurration.
supply voltages are +6V and -6V.
input signal is in mVolts.
Gain is set more than 500.
output remailns under 5V.
is it working properly ?
can we set too high gains like 500 or 1000 or more
you can also suggest another amplifier. Thanks

amplifier gain ll b up to 2lack,no doubt
your ampl is working properly........................ gain=(o/p vtg) /(i/p vtg),
