A fetal error during PEX in calibre, especially compilation error

Hello guys

After finishing layout, DRC, and LVS, I proceed PEX.
However, I met PEX error!!!

Especially, compilation is failed.
( Error while compiling rules file
SVRF syntax error on encrypted line xxx of rules.
NOTE: this is not a decryption error.)

I don't know how to solve this problem.

If you know the solution, please help me

Thanks,
Regards,

Because the rules are encrypted, there is nothing you can do to fix it. (Because the DRC and LVS rules work okay, I am assuming you have the right libraries, supported OS, hardware, etc, and the problem really is in the encrypted file.) Best bet is to contact the group who provided the encrypted PEX rules.

Hi heein

Are you sure you are loading the PEX ruledeck and not che technology description file (occasionally called rules)? Very often the pex rule deck is the same as the LVS rules with an additional internal variable set to -among other things- include the stack description file (usually only this file is encrypted)

Hi slizak
Thanks for your opinion.
Finally the problem is related with the version of the calibre.
After I update my calibre version from 2010 to 2012, it is working.

Thanks,
