calibre text

Hi,

Calibre LVS shows I should not use design layer for pin text. however, design manual did not mention I should not. what's wrong with that?

Thanks...

how to solve calibre lvs problem

i have never met this problem, but i think u can try to use the label layer.

calibre lvs review

design manual did not tell me which is label layer... :(

calibre text layer port layer

use tt or ll layer( M1CAD)

Re: calibre LVS problem.

Might be the calibre deck is not recognize the metal pin layer for lvs.
You can use the metal text layer instead of pin text layer or review the deck the which text layers are the deck used for LVS.

some example shown as below.....

TEXT LAYER 131 ATTACH 131 metal1
PORT LAYER TEXT 131
TEXT LAYER 132 ATTACH 132 metal2
PORT LAYER TEXT 132
TEXT LAYER 133 ATTACH 133 metal3
PORT LAYER TEXT 133
TEXT LAYER 134 ATTACH 134 metal4
PORT LAYER TEXT 134
TEXT LAYER 135 ATTACH 135 metal5
PORT LAYER TEXT 135
TEXT LAYER 136 ATTACH 136 metal6
PORT LAYER TEXT 136
TEXT LAYER 126 ATTACH 126 metal7
PORT LAYER TEXT 126

Cheers.:D
