I'm trying to use the calibre lvs box option to escape a spiral inductor from LVS and just verify the connectivity. LVS did not succeed though.

After debugging, it looks like Calibre starts by "shorting" the two pins inside the spiral while the latter has been already defined as "box". Because of that LVS keeps failing.

The only way I can get it to pass LVS is to introduce a gap in the spiral trace that separates between the two pins but this is an ugly fix.

Any ideas will be much appreciated.
