Just wondering how often we need to calibrate pt1000. I found methods to calibrate the sensors but not much on how often the calibration is needed to be done. Any comment please ?

The ideal calibration interval for your PT1000 sensor will depend on your specific requirements, but a common practice is to calibrate the sensor once a year or whenever you notice a significant deviation from the expected values. If your application requires higher accuracy, you may need to calibrate the sensor more frequently.

Pt100 and Pt1000 probes are never calibrated in typical industrial applications, the application rather depend on the specified long-term accuracy of the respective class. Similarly it's also unusual to calibrate the electronic transducers, although this can be much easier achived than calibrating the probe.

Your calibration cycle may be determined more by agreements
and paperwork, than any "measurement creep" (that's what
chain of calibration and cal-cycle "stuff" is for - keep you well
inside the period-of-acceptable-accuracy-as-sandbagged.

If you don't have any such policies then you probably aren't
doing anything that really requires great accuracy and
repeatability.

If do you have that kind of thing in place then may as well just
do what it says. You can use "benchtop methods" any time
you feel suspicious, and deal with any surprises.
