Hey all,

I am trying to figure out the Blackwell chip price.

1. According to Wikipedia the chip is 28 x 28, so I took this information into this die per wafer calculator and found out there are 67 dies per wafer (link: https://anysilicon.com/die-per-wafer-formula-free-calculators/)

2. The price per wafer (4NP) is ~15K according to this page: https://anysilicon.com/wafer-cost/

3. For now, I will assume the yield is 50%

4. The price per die is ~$450

Is this correct?

Thanks for your answers.

Yield might be higher, but it is hard to say. N4 node is still relatively new and I don't think there are public yield/defect rates known.

As my division VP was fond of saying, "cost and price are unrelated".

Development costs are amortized in the price, as are premiums for performance or popularity.
