Hi all,
I am using Cadstar Express 12.1 for evaluation.
Please coud someone tell me how I can search the libraires for a component?
I can search individual libraries, but how do i search all libraries for a component instance?
For example I can only find one leaded LED component, but I want an SMD LED.
Surely there is a SMD LED somewhere in Cadstar?

Kind regards
Monster Munch

Use library searcher, with the component library enabled. The put *led* in the component column header and click the binoculars.
On the subject of SMD LED's there are numerous packages, so there may not be the package you require in the basic libraries.

As Marce has said - use the searcher.

Put the text in the top search feilds and press the binoculars.
The binocs with the red cross clears the search.

It may be time for you to learn how to make a component :)
