I'm sure a few of you might have guessed where this is going...

I haven't ever looked into the major differences between the BSD kernel and Linux kernel, but I do know linux source can generally be compiled on Darwin (OS-X kernel). With a few extra sym links and faking a std Linux directory structure, would it be possible to get IC5141 working on a mac?

I'd assume this would be a large undertaking if one was to try it, but I'm just curious if it would be possible to run it with X11 on a mac, or if there is no way.

Cheers!

you can installed on BSD OS, if EDA vendor release tools for SOLARISX86 platform .
