I try to install Cadence IC 5141 on Fedora Core 4, but have some problems after instalation.
Can anyone give me detail information about how install IC on FC4?

I have downgrade tar and gcc(from FC2), so there are no problems during instalation. And edit bash.rc how it described in manual.
But when load icms or icfb there are problems with libraries.
What shall I do to get it work properly?

RHEL 2.1 is the baseline OS for IC5141. You can also use RHEL 3 and 4. You'd betetr not use FC 4.

install ic5141 on low version and copy the file to high version

why go through such trouble?

gcc in fc4 is ok!
you do not need the degrade it.
closing the SELinux can solve the library problem.
