Is this system possible??

cable tv from co-axial cable is plugged to external TV-tuner that converts analogue signal to digital and o/p digital video from its vga port is connected to the cctv ip router and then watching live TV on android devices via the broadcasted ip.

i would like to do it for my final year project..

The analogue signal, you are talking about, from the cable tv,is this one.......right?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAL
and you are going to convert analog to digital....which digital compression technology will you be using?
MPEG-2/MPEG-4?
and for the frequency range(s) that will be involved....https://www.edaboard.com/threads/86306/
You need powerful communications hardware......I guess..

VGA is still an analogue format. If you're going analogue cable into a tuner and coming out VGA, you still have an analogue signal going into the cctv router. That is fine, just keep in mind at some point you will need to convert to a compressed digital video format of some type, as mentioned by udayan above.

Have you tested the cctv router you plan to use? Does it already take an analogue signal in and stream it to a phone? I guess we'll need to know more about the cctv router's capabilities. What part of this are you actually developing? Also, does your cctv router stream audio, or just silent video?
