Hi all.. I'm looking for a C compiler for HCS08, I found co*smic and metr*owerks.
Anyway they are quite price different:
64K metr*owerks about 990$
no limit co*smic 1620$

What do you think?

I still sow rista*nCASE DA-C 4.0 utility and looks very pretty, anyone useing it?

Bye All!

Hallo
A friend used HC12 version some years ago, and he found quite impotant bugs.. at the end he changed the compiler.
So I'm not so enthusiast...

Bye

There is a free version of Code warrior compiler from metrowerks, you just need register your copy and make code <4Kb in C and the assembly is unlimited; :)

Cosmic has now also a 4k free version of his compiler.

Maybe Codewarrior handles better the small monitor present in HC908.
(P&E tools) .....So insitu programming and debugging is more easy with Codewarrior.

Regards

yes, I sow the free tools but I need 32+ Kbytes....
Cos*mic or Metro*werks?

Just for Metrowerks HC08 C Compiler Demo.

C compilers for HCS08

Hi,

I'm using Cosmic C compiler for ST72Fxxx family, and I think that it's
a very efficient compiler. It supports many memory models ad is able to generate a very compact code.
