C books on microcontrollers

hi all
i have studied a few books about microcontrollers(AVR,PIC, 8051), but they all contained the microcontroller specific commands for example how to use different registers, how to run timers etc.... is there any book or online resource which provides information about all aspects of c programming targetted at microcontrollers for example pointers, volatile type, arrays etc.... i also read somewhere on a forum that c++ is also used for programming UC, i m confused how oop can be implemented on UC.

you need to learn about some softwares that used as C compiler for a specific UC,
such as Codevision AVR for AVR UC's , in that environment you can use C commands ,
