Bus routing

I have a design containing two softmacros. there is a bus
between them. I want to route the whole bus together in a
automatic way, but not using interactive route tool, as I

want that tool decide the path of the bus and insert buffers along the route if it necessary to meet timing. However, when I
try the bus signals using route_group each bit of the bus is
routed in a different shape and different path. How can I ask ICC that route the whole bus together in a same shape and same path.
The situation becomes very worse when signals of the bus
need buffers to meet timing, and bus signals are scattered
around.

Bus routing

You could try routing it by hand.

Re: Bus routing

Actually, its not a bus. it is a link (with two end points) containing a bunch of wires that should traverse along some cores between source and destination. I dont want to specify the path by myself, as I want tool finds the optimum path for the entire link. and I need all the signals of this link traverse roughly in the same shape.
is there any script or command or a bunch of scripts or a technique to do that?
