Genetic antenna

Anyone has expeniences in using genetic to built or design antenna??
Is GA is useful??

Moreover anyone know how to do the optimization in ie3D??
I mean write your own GA program to call IE3D to do the optimization or draw random structure ??

GA is good for synthesis of antenna
u can go through some papers in IEEE
I can send u some ref if u want

Yes, ga is extensively use.ie3d has a GA optimizer built in.you can just set the parameters.
