RDS

Hi everybody,
I am just collecting the schematics, how to build and build-in the RDS into FM receiver of older type. The dimesions do not play the role. I think about somethig special: like "unusual" display.
Maybe some of You have interesting infos or links?
:p

RDS

Hello
Feed the audio output (voltage amplifier output, not that of Loud speaker)of local FM receiver to an RDS decoder chip.
ST is having one.
From that you will get clock and data output.
It can be decoded to get RDS info using a simple microcontroller
eg AT89c2051.

Re: RDS

Hi,

if you would like to build simple RDS decoder I sugest you the new Philips chips SAA658x. They have built in software decoder and send at the output ready decoded data as some mashine text.

If you would like I can send you the PDFs
