bootloader not wrking

Hi everyone...

When i try to program P89c51 RD2BN, bootloader is not working.
Can anyone give the schematic or any link to go through it. No data sheet needed i have one wit me....

I made the EA pin high and PSEN pin low.. is this enuf....plese suggest..
I am using Flash magic programmer....

- try to connect using a plain terminal emulator (e.g. Terminal by Bray)
- check if the crystal oscillator is running properly (using oscilloscope or a counter - sorry, no other "cheap" way)
- check your reset - I hope you are NOT using RC reset
- check your RS232 connection (remove the chip, short Rx and Tx and check if characters get echoed in terminal)
- check out the appnotes on FlashMagic website, it might give some hint in similar matters
- check out the FlashMagic and the 8052.com Forums
- if no help, you might have suffered the infamous "bootloader loss" problem
- forget the P89C51RD2, it's getting obsolete anyway; try to get P89V51RD2
