Hi,
Does the ML4800 PFC controller have a fixed peak current threshold of 1V?
If so, this seems very restrictive. The LT1248 PFC controller has a user settable MOUT resistor, which beneficially means that the user can actually set the peak current threshold, and so reduce the dissipation in the current sense resistor.
Why does ML4800 have no way of doing this?
